13. Switch off the appliance and disconnect from supply
before changing accessories or approaching parts that
move in use.
14. The use of attachments not recommended or sold by
KitchenAid may cause re, electric shock, or injury.
15. Be careful if hot liquid is blended in the jar, as it can be
ejected out due to a sudden steaming.
16. When mixing liquids, especially hot liquids, use a tall
container or make small quantities at a time to reduce
spillage.
17. Always disconnect the blender from the supply if it is
left unattended and before assembling, disassembling
or cleaning.
18. Do not allow children to use the blender without
supervision.
19. Do not let cord contact hot surface, including the
stove.
20. Do not use the Hand Blender outdoors.
21. Blades are sharp. Care should be taken when handling
the sharp cutting blades, emptying the bowl, and
during cleaning.
22. To avoid product damage, do not use the Hand
Blender bowls in areas of high heat such as an oven,
microwave, or on a stovetop.
23. Refer to the “Care and Cleaning” section for
instructions on cleaning the surfaces in contact with
food.
24. This appliance is intended to be used in household and
similar applications such as:
- staff kitchen areas in shops, ofces, or other
working environments;
- farmhouses;
- by clients in hotels, motels, and other residential
type environments;
- bed and breakfast type environments.
