Pour Over Coffee Cone
Although the pour over brewing method
has been around for nearly one hundred
years, it has recently gained in popularity.
More coffee acionados are choosing the
method to deliver their perfect cup, as the
technique of slowly pouring water over the
ground beans extracts excellent avor.
While pour over cones can be constructed
from a number of different materials,
ceramic is preferred for its heat retention
and durability. Made of commercial-grade
ceramic, the KitchenAid
®
Pour Over Coffee
Cone is available in two different sizes: the
KCM0260 is perfectly sized to use with
your cup or mug for a single serving, while
the KCM0460 is sized for larger or multiple
servings for use with your mug or carafe.
The steps and tips provided represent
standard brewing methods. We encourage
you to experiment and nd the right
formula to meet your personal coffee
preference.

USING THE POUR OVER COFFEE CONE
The below suggestions are points of reference. KitchenAid recommends that you
experiment with coffee-to-water ratio and grind size to nd the perfect formula for your
preferred cup of coffee.
In order to determine how much coffee to use, it's easiest to rst decide on the amount
of water needed for your nished coffee. For example, 296 g of water and 17.4 g of
coffee grounds will produce enough coffee for a 10-ounce (296 mL) serving.
