Brief instructions/ Overview Before using the dishwasher, read the installation and maintenance instructions carefully. How to use the appliance HOW TO FILL THE DETERGENT DISPENSER Only fill the detergent dispenser prior to starting a wash programme. Only use detergents specially recommended for dishwashers, observing the manufacturer's recommended dosage. Observe the manufacturer's safety warnings! Press the left button (button 1) on the dispenser to open the detergent dispenser compartments. a. Powder/gel/tabs - Fill the detergent dispenser compartments in accordance with the wash programme selected (table 1.1).
Only use rinse aids recommended for use in domestic dishwashers. If rinse aid is accidentally spilt, immediately remove it to avoid the formation of excessive suds which could cause appliance malfunctioning. c. How to adjust the rinse aid dosage regulator: - The rinse aid dosage can be adjusted to the detergent used. The lower the setting, the less rinse aid is dispensed (factory setting: position 4). - Press the button 2 to open the cover.
c. How to set the water hardness level - Press and hold the programme selection button and the Cancel/Off button for at least three seconds. - The hardness level set is shown on the display or the LEDs for programmes 1 - 3 indicate the water hardness setting according to the table below. - With each successive touch of the programme selection button, the setting increases and when it reaches 7 it returns to 1 again.
HOW TO LOAD THE RACKS CUTLERY RACK: May be used in two different positions. In position 2 the upper rack must be lowered (see "Upper rack height adjustment" C below). Position 1 Position 2 For optimum washing results, position cutlery as shown (handles of spoons facing inwards). Beware of sharp/pointed items. Risk of injury! SELECT PROGRAMME Press the programme selection button until the required programme appears (Table 1.1, Page 5). The appliance will switch on automatically. If required, select options (if supplied). These are saved at the end of the cycle even if another programme is selected. The corresponding indicator lamp lights up. WASH CYCLE The dishwasher door must be closed and the water tap open.
Precautions and general recommendations 1. Packing • The packaging materials are 100% recyclable and marked with the recycling symbol . 2. Removing the packaging and inspecting the contents • After unpacking, make sure that the dishwasher is undamaged and that the door closes correctly. If in doubt, contact a qualified technician or your local retailer. 3. Before using the dishwasher for the first time • The appliance is designed to operate at ambient temperatures of between 5°C and 45°C.
What to do if... If a fault occurs, before contacting the After-sales Service, make the following checks to try and remedy the problem. Most faults can be remedied by taking the following courses of action, quickly restoring normal appliance operation. The appliance... Possible causes/solutions ...is not working/will not start - ... shows "F6 / E2" on the display or the Cancel/Off light flashes alternately 6 times / 2 times - The water tap must be open.
Crockery ... Possible causes/solutions ...are not perfectly clean/have food residues - Arrange crockery so that items do not touch each other. Concave items (e.g. bowls, cups) must be arranged facing downwards in the rack. - If necessary, use more detergent, observing the manufacturer's indications as regards dosage. Always store detergent in a dry place and do not store it for excessively long periods of time. - For heavily soiled crockery, select a wash programme with a higher temperature (see table 1.
