How much detergent to use a The amount of detergent to use depends on the hardness of your water and the type of detergent. If you use too little, dishes won't be clean. If you use too much in soft water, glassware will etch. u Water hardness can change over a period of time. An asterisk ( * ) by the cycle time indicates the cycle time might be longer depending on the temperature of the water entering the dishwasher. The cooler the water, the longer the cycle time.
Energy Saver Dry Select this option to dry dishes without heat and save energy. TROUBLESHOOTING • does not run or stops during a cycle Is the door closed tightly and latched? Did you use the correct amount of fresh detergent? Use recommended dishwasher detergents only. Refer to the "Detergent Dispenser" section. Never use less than 1 tb (15 g) per load. Detergent must be fresh to be effective. Store detergent in a cool, dry area, Heavy soil and/or hard water generally require extra detergent. Is the right cycle selected? Refer to the "Cycle Selection Chart.
