This product has not been tested as a whole to determine health effects. The health
effects listed below are associated with the individual ingredients listed in Section 3.
Sodium hydroxide
Acute Effects: Causes burns to the eyes, skin, respiratory tract, and gastrointestinal tract.
May cause tissue damage.
Chronic Effects: Prolonged or repeated exposure may cause tissue destruction and
mutagenic effects.
Corrosive. Causes severe burns to eyes and skin based on animal data.
Sodium metasilicate pentahydrate
Acute Effects: If ingested, causes chemical burns. Dust is severly irritating to respiratory
tract. Causes chemical burns to skin and eyes. May cause permanent damage if eye is
not immediately irrigated.

In Case of Inhalation:
4. FIRST AID MEASURES
Remove contaminated clothing. Wash skin with soap and water. Get medical attention.
Emergency and First Aid
Procedures:
Irritation, burning, coughing, sneezing, choking sensation, hoarseness, difficulty
breathing, shock, nausea, vomiting, diarrhea.
Signs and Symptoms Of
Exposure:
Flush eyes with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes, occasionally lifting the upper and
lower eyelids.
In Case of Eye Contact:
Flush skin with plenty of water for at least 15 minutes while removing contaminated
clothing and shoes.
In Case of Skin Contact:
Do not induce vomiting. Wash mouth out with water. Give water. Get immediate medical
attention.
In Case of Ingestion:
Remove victim to fresh air and keep at rest in a position comfortable for breathing.
