surface type. Spray on for best performance and ease of application.
1. DETERMINE YOUR MIX RATIO
Please see the KLEEN KOTE Usage Suggestions sheet for starting mix ratios that can be adjusted based on your results. NOTE: The
more concentrate you add the thicker and more reactive KLEEN KOTE will be.
2. MIXING
Using a clean container, add KLEEN KOTE and water to achieve the recommended ratio for your application. Adding KLEEN KOTE
to water and then adding more water will eliminate the need for mixing. Do NOT mix with diesel, fuels or oils. Do NOT mix with
other release agents.
3. APPICATION
KLEEN KOTE may be applied at any time. For best results, the application surface should be clean prior to use. Remove all other
release agents before applying KLEEN KOTE.
4. SPRAYING
Spray on and then let change from white to clear before using. If KLEEN KOTE freezes on the surface you are treating, it will still
work. Reapply after each use.
TIPS FOR USE
• Oils, soaps and even other environmentally safe products should not be mixed together or they may react and cause each other
not to work.
• Never mix KLEEN KOTE in a drum previously used for an acid. The acid residue in the drum will damage KLEEN KOTE rendering it
ineffective.
• Clean or cast form oil off of your forms before applying KLEEN KOTE to prevent a reaction between the products.
• Clean equipment and trucks of oils and soaps before applying KLEEN KOTE to prevent a reaction between the products.
• If KLEEN KOTE seems thick or sticky, check the mix ratio for under dilution.
• Washing with soap and other chemicals will remove KLEEN KOTE. In freezing conditions, frozen soapy water on equipment or
trucks will neutralize KLEEN KOTE. Try not to use soap; it is normally not necessary when using KLEEN KOTE.
• Use only clean spraying and mixing equipment. Contaminated equipment may neutralize KLEEN KOTE.
• Protect mixed KLEEN KOTE from freezing. This can be done by mixing on an as needed basis or by storing in a warm area such as
a truck or building. KLEEN KOTE concentrate will not freeze.
• Refer to the product MSD Sheet for additional product information.
