3.6 Four-way valve (for heat pump models)

WARNING: Evacuate the system and conﬁrm that there is no refrigerant left in the system before removing the

four-way valve and the compressor. (For R32 & R290, you should evacuate the system with the vacuum pump; ﬂush the

system with nitrogen; then repeat the two steps before heating up the brazed parts. The operations above should be

implemented by professionals.)

Note: Remove the panel plate, connection of four-way valve on PCB (refer to 3.1 Panel plate and 3.2 Electrical

parts) before disassembling sound blanket.

Procedure Illustration

1) Heat up the brazed parts and then detach

the the four-way valve and the pipe (see

Fig. 11).

2) Remove the four-way valve assembly with

pliers.
