HORNS
The addition of ellipses or “mumps” molded into calculated areas of the Tractrix
®
horn on the KI-102-SMA-II, KI-172-SMA-II, KI-396-SMA-II and KI-362-SMA-II
further enhances even frequency dispersion across the horn’s coverage area
by modifying the prole of the horn’s shape to prevent lower-frequency sounds
from “pulling away” from the horn’s boundary. This patented geometric design
allows all horn-generated frequencies to follow the horn curvature and provides
the most even total coverage in a given area.
