Intended Use

This large-capacity band saw is used to cut larger pieces of metal up to 7 x 12 inches as given in

the specifications below. The saw features 115/230 dual voltage operation, a vertical cutting table,

and hydraulic downfeed control. The unit rolls on casters for maneuverability.

7 x 12 Metal Band Saw With Vertical Cutting Table OWNER’S MANUAL • When using more than one extension cord to make up the total length, make sure each cord contains at least the minimum wire size required. • If you are using one extension cord for more than one tool, add the nameplate amperes and use the sum to determine the required minimum cord size. • If you are using an extension cord outdoors, make sure it is marked with the suffix W-A (W in Canada) to indicate it is acceptable for outdoor use.

To Set the Vise for 0 to 45 Degree Cutting 1. Turn off the saw and disconnect it from power. 2. Remove the bolt assemblies (C. Fig. 9) 3. Position the vise and re-install it as pictured in Fig. 10. Pay particular attention to the bolt hole location. 4.

7 x 12 Metal Band Saw With Vertical Cutting Table OWNER’S MANUAL USING THE QUICK VISE The band saw machine is equipped with a quick-action vise jaw which allowsyou to instantly position the movable vise jaw (B). Simply turn the handwheel (A) counterclockwise 1/2 turn, move the vise jaw to the desired position, then tighten the vise jaw against the workpiece by turning hand-wheel clockwise.
