R-Value means resistance to heat flow. The higher the R-value
the greater the insulating effectiveness.
Flame Spread, Combustion, and Federal Testing
Unfaced fiberglass blankets, unfaced Post Frame insulation,
Post Frame insulation, FSK 24 and loose-fill insulation have
a class A” flame spread rating of 25 or less and smoke developed
rating of 50 or less according to ASTM E84 test method.*
