PACKAGE CONTENTS A PART A DESCRIPTION Battery QUANTITY 1 SAFETY INFORMATION For the proper use, maintenance and storage of this battery, it is important that you read and understand the instructions given in this manual. To avoid serious injury, risk of fire, explosion, and danger of electric shock or electrocution: • Do not probe the battery. The charging terminals hold a high current that can result in electrical shock. • If the battery case is cracked or damaged, do not insert into the charger.
SAFETY INFORMATION • Do not allow small metal items or material such as steel wool, aluminum foil, or other foreign particles into the battery cavity. • Unplug the charger before cleaning and when there is no battery in the charger. • Do not place the battery in the sun or in a warm environment. Keep at normal room temperature. • Keep in shady, cool and dry conditions. • The battery cells may develop a small leak under extreme usage or temperature conditions.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Note: The battery is not shipped fully charged. It is recommended to fully charge before first use to ensure that maximum run time can be achieved. This lithium-ion battery will not develop a memory and may be charged at any time. Low voltage charging: If the battery has been stored with little to no charge for a long period of time, the charger will go into recovery mode, which will take 20 hrs to fully charge the battery. This will enhance the life of the battery.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE WARNING In order to avoid personal injury and the risk of fire and electric shock, remove the battery before adjusting, inspecting, or cleaning the battery. Cleaning 1. Remove the battery • Brush or blow dust and debris out of the air vents using compressed air or a vacuum. Keep the air vents free of obstructions, sawdust, and wood chips. Do not spray, wash, or immerse the air vents in water. • Wipe off the housing and the plastic components using a dry soft cloth.
