SAFETY INFORMATION Battery Tool Use and Care • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. PREPARATION Know Your Cut-Out Tool This tool can be used for some cut-out applications. Before attempting to use the cut-out tool, familiarize yourself with all of its operating features and safety requirements. WARNING • Do not allow familiarity with the tool to cause carelessness. Remember that one careless moment is enough to cause severe injury. Before attempting to use any tool, be sure to become familiar with all of the operating features and safety instructions.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. To Attach Battery Pack a. Press the ON/OFF switch (G) in the center/off position. b. Align the raised portion on the battery pack with the grooves on the bottom of the tool, then slide the battery pack onto the tool, as shown. c. Make sure that the latches on the battery pack snap into place and the battery pack is secured to the tool before beginning operation.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 3. LED Worklight The LED worklight (E), located on the front of the cut-out tool, will illuminate when the trigger switch is depressed. This provides additional light on the surface of the workpiece for operation in lower-light conditions. The LED worklight will automatically turn off approximately 10 seconds after the trigger has been released. 3 E a.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 6. Installing or Removing the Bit • • • • 6 C/H WARNING Always remove battery pack before changing or removing accessories or make any adjustments. Bits are sharp. Handle with great care. When replacing bits, do not insert cutting flutes into the collet. This may result in broken bits. Never tighten the collet without a bit installed. Use only cutting bits with a 1/8" or 1/4" shank. Always use the correct collet for the cutting bit. Use 1/8" collets for 1/8" cutting-bit shanks.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 7. Operating the Cut-out Tool 7 WARNING • Always check the work area for hidden wires before use. Shut off all live electric circuits to any areas where cut outs will be made. a. Move any wiring in the wall or ceiling away from the path of the bit. b. Remove the battery and adjust the depth guide so that the bit extends 1/8" beyond the material. c. Replace the battery, turn on the tool, and allow the tool to reach full speed.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE All maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified service technician. Cleaning Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, remove the battery from the tool. For safe and proper operation, always keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean. Clean dust and debris from vents. Keep handles clean, dry and free of oil or grease. Always use only a soft, dry cloth to clean your cut-out tool; never use detergent or alcohol.

Alinee la parte elevada del paquete de bateríascon las ranuras de la parte inferior de la herramienta y deslice el paquete de baterías sobre la herramienta, como se muestra. c.
