ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 1. Assembling the Blower Tube 1a This product requires assembly before using. WARNING • To prevent accidental starting that could cause serious personal injury, always remove the battery pack from the tool when assembling parts. a. Align the groove in the blower tube (A) with the knob on the blower housing. Push the tube onto the blower housing. b. Rotate the blower tube counterclockwise until a “click” is heard to signal that the knob has locked into place. c.
ASSEMBLY INSTRUCTIONS 2. To Install/Remove Battery Pack 2 To Attach Battery Pack a. Make sure that the variable-speed trigger switch (C) is in OFF position and the triggerlock lever (B) is in the OFF position. b. Align the raised portion on the battery pack (not included) with the grooves on the bottom of the tool, then slide the battery pack onto the tool as shown. c.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. To Start/Stop the Blower The variable-speed trigger switch (C) can turn the blower ON/OFF and deliver variable speed. The blower is also equipped with a trigger-lock lever (B) to turn the blower ON/OFF, and lock the blower at a certain speed. 3 C B To Turn the Blower ON a. The variable-speed trigger switch delivers higher speed with increased trigger pressure and lower speed with decreased trigger pressure.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. Power Indicator This lithium-ion battery pack 1 is equipped with a power indicator that displays the battery pack’s charge status. Press the power-indicator button (B) to display the LED lights in the power indicator (C). The LED lights will stay lit for approximately 5 seconds. It is recommended that the battery pack be brought up B C to full charge before starting a big job or using it for an extended period of time.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS Low Capacity Warning If one LED of the power indicator (C) begins to flash, the battery pack is charged to less than 20% of its capacity and should be recharged. Unlike other types of battery packs, lithium-ion battery packs deliver fade-free power for their entire run time. The tool will not experience a slow, gradual loss of power as it is used. The power delivered to the tool will drop quickly when the battery pack is at the end of its run time and needs to be charged.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 2. Cold Weather Operation This lithium-ion battery pack will provide optimal performance in temperatures between 32°F (0°C) and 104°F (40°C). When the battery pack is very cold, it may “pulse” for the first minute of use to warm itself. Put the battery pack on a tool and use the tool in a light application. After about a minute, the battery pack will have warmed itself and will operate normally. 3.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE All maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified service technician. Dispose of used battery packs promptly. Keep battery packs away from children. OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. To Charge a Battery Pack NOTICE: Battery packs are shipped in a low charge condition to prevent possible problems. Before using it the first time, fully charge the battery pack. Refer to the operating manual for your battery pack to determine charging times. a. Charge the battery pack with the correct charger. b. Connect the charger to a power supply. The red and green LED charge indicators (B and C) will illuminate approximately 1 second then turn off. c.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS NOTICE: • The battery pack will fully charge, but will not overcharge, if left on the charger. • The charger may warm with several continuous charge cycles. This is part of the normal operation of the charger. Always charge the battery pack in a well-ventilated area. Lithium-Ion Batteries It is not necessary to run down the Lithium-Ion battery pack charge before recharging. Remove the battery pack from the tool and recharge it when it is convenient. 2.

INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 1. Cómo cargar un paquete de baterías AVISO: Los paquetes de baterías se envían con una carga baja para evitar posibles problemas. Coloque tornillos en la pared a una distancia de 5,71 cm entre ellos. Use tornillos lo suficientemente fuertes para que sostengan el peso combinado del cargador y el paquete de baterías.
