SAFETY INFORMATION • Do not direct the heat gun air airflow at clothing, hair or other body parts. Do not use as a hair dryer. Heat guns can produce 986°F (530°C) or more of flameless heat at the nozzle. Contact with the air stream could result in personal injury. • Do not use near flammable liquids or in explosive atmospheres, such as in the presence of fumes, gases or dust. The flameless heat from the heat gun may ignite the dust or fumes. Remove materials or debris that may become ignited from work area.

OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 2. To Install a Nozzle Attachment 2 The tool includes two nozzle attachments for different applications. F Reflector attachment (F) is used for heat shrinkwrapping by trapping heat around a workpiece and avoiding excess heat burning or damaging objects behind the workpiece. Reduction nozzle (G) attachment is used for welding, shrinking, sleeving, and other operations that require concentrated heat over small work area. a.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 5. Temperature Selector The air temperature can be adjusted to suit a wide range of applications. Slide the air temperature selector (B) toward “HI” for high heat or “LOW” for low heat. 5 The heat gun is capable of producing temperatures in excess of approximately 500°F (260°C) on the low setting and 1000°F (589°C) on the high setting. CARE AND MAINTENANCE WARNING • All maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified service technician. • Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, remove the battery pack. For safe and proper operation, always keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean. • When servicing, use only identical replacement parts. Use of any other parts may create a hazard or cause product damage. • Always wear safety goggles or safety glasses with side shields during power tool operation or when blowing dust.
WARRANTY For 5 years from the date of purchase, the tool is warranted for the original purchaser to be free from defects in material and workmanship. Para instalar un accesorio de boquilla La herramienta incluye dos accesorios de boquilla que permiten lograr diferentes aplicaciones. 2 F El accesorio reflector (F) se utiliza para la encoger envolturas con calor; atrapa el calor alrededor de una pieza de trabajo y evita que el calor excesivo queme o dañe los objetos que se encuentran detrás de la pieza de trabajo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO 4. Luz de trabajo LED La luz LED de trabajo (E), ubicada en la base de la herramienta, se iluminará cuando presione el interruptor tipo gatillo (D). Esto brinda más iluminación en la superficie de la pieza de trabajo para usar la herramienta en condiciones de poca iluminación. 4 E La luz de trabajo LED se apagará cuando suelte el interruptor de gatillo.
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO Remoción de pintura ADVERTENCIA • Lea las instrucciones de seguridad correspondientes antes de proceder con la remoción de pintura. a. Mantenga la boquilla aproximadamente a 25 mm (1”) de la superficie de trabajo. b. Pase la boquilla hacia adelante y hacia atrás sobre un área pequeña de la pieza de trabajo. c. Retire el calor cuando salgan burbujas de la pintura. d. Quita la pintura con una espátula para masilla afilada.
CUIDADO Y MANTENIMIENTO ADVERTENCIA • Todo el mantenimiento debe estar a cargo solo de un técnico de servicio calificado. • Antes de realizar una limpieza o mantenimiento, retire el paquete de baterías. Para un uso seguro y adecuado, siempre mantenga limpias la herramienta y sus ranuras de ventilación. • Al realizar una reparación, utilice solo piezas de repuesto idénticas a las de fabricación. El uso de cualquier otra pieza puede ser peligroso o causar daños en el producto.
