Battery tool Use and Care • Recharge only with the charger specified by the manufacturer. A charger that is suitable for one type of battery pack may create a risk of fire when used with another battery pack. • Use power tools only with specifically designated battery packs.
SAFETY INFORMATION • When working with the power tool, always hold it firmly with both hands and provide for a secure stance. The power tool is guided more secure with both hands. • Secure the workpiece. A workpiece clamped with clamping devices or in a vice is held more secure than by hand. • Always wait until the power tool has come to a complete stop before placing it down. The tool insert can jam and lead to loss of control over the power tool.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 1. To Attach Battery Pack a. Place the direction-of-rotation selector (D) in the center-lock position. b. Align the raised portion on the battery pack with the grooves on the bottom of the tool, then slide the battery pack onto the tool, as shown. c. Make sure that the battery-release buttons on the battery pack snap into place and the battery pack is secured to the tool before beginning operation.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 3. Variable-speed Trigger Switch a. To turn the rotary hammer ON, press the variable-speed trigger switch (E). b. To turn it OFF, release the variable-speed trigger switch. c. The variable-speed trigger switch delivers higher speed with increased trigger pressure and lower speed with decreased trigger pressure. 4. Mode Selector 3 E 4 WARNING • ALWAYS place the direction-of-rotation selector (D) in the center-lock position when not using the tool, cleaning, or making adjustments.
OPERATING INSTRUCTIONS 5. LED Worklight The LED worklight (F), located on the foot of the rotary hammer, will illuminate when the trigger switch is depressed. This provides additional light on the surface of the workpiece for operation in lower-light conditions. The LED worklight will turn off after the trigger switch is released.

Operating the Rotary Hammer 10a WARNING • To reduce the risk of explosion, check the utility lines electricity, gas or water supply line are hidden in the work area before any work. • When working at low temperatures: The hammering mechanism begins to operate only when the tool has reached a minimum operating temperature. Press the tip of the hammer bit briefly against the work surface while power on the tool.
CARE AND MAINTENANCE All maintenance should only be carried out by a qualified service technician. Cleaning Before cleaning or performing any maintenance, disconnect the plug from the power source. For safe and proper operation, always keep the tool and its ventilation slots clean. Always use only a soft, dry cloth to clean your rotary hammer; never use detergent or alcohol.

Funcionamiento del taladro percutor 10a ADVERTENCIA • Para disminuir el riesgo de explosión, revise las líneas de servicios básicos, como líneas de electricidad, gas o suministro de agua, que estén ocultas en el área de trabajo antes de realizar cualquier trabajo. • Cuando trabaje a bajas temperaturas: El mecanismo de percusión comienza a funcionar solo cuando la herramienta ha alcanzado una temperatura mínima de funcionamiento.
INSTRUCCIONES DE FUNCIONAMIENTO Picado y cincelado a. Establezca el selector de modo (C) en el modo de cincelado. b. Instale el cincel adecuado. c. Para ajustar el cabezal del cincel en el ángulo deseado, establezca el modo de operación en el modo no apto para trabajo y gire el cincel a mano. Vuelva a colocar el modo de operación en el modo de cincelado. d. Ajuste el mango auxiliar según sea necesario. e. Sostenga firmemente la herramienta con ambas manos. f. Encienda la herramienta y comience a trabajar.
GARANTÍA La herramienta está garantizada contra defectos de fabricación en los materiales y la mano de obra por 5 años a contar de la fecha de compra para el comprador original.
