PRODUCT SAFETY INFORMATION
Failure to observe the following could result in injury:
Use the right eye protection for the job. Never depend on regular glasses or
contact lenses to protect you. Watch out for flying particles from grinding,
etching and other machine operations. Never use face shields in place of
safety glasses or goggles.
Particle respiratory hazards are from tiny pieces of matter that may not be
visible and can damage lungs, nasal passages and other organs. To protect
yourself know what kind of respiratory hazard you're exposed to and use
the right kind of personal protective equipment for each hazard. Filtration
respirators filter out dusts, fumes and mists. Air-Purifying respirators
contain replaceable chemical cartridges that keep the contaminant out of
circulation. Air supplying respirators provide clean air from an outside source when the air around you is simply
too dangerous to breathe.
Never exceed the manufacturer's stated pressure rating for each and every item in the system.
Inspect all air lines and hoses for splits, cracks, and wear. Do not use if damaged, defective or worn. Make sure all
connections are tight.
This filter is designed to be used for only compressed air applications and not with liquid or gas materials. Use of
anything but air can cause injury or death.
Always make sure that the power is turned off and all the pressure is released
from the system before installing, servicing or maintenancing.
1. Find the air flow direction arrow which shows the direction of
the air flow. There are two arrows pointing in the proper
direction. See Figure 2.
2. Mount the filter vertically (and securely) as close to the air tool
connection as you can.
