Attach
th
e
end
of
the
film
in
the
slot
in
an
empty
TAKE
-
UP
SPOOL;
th
en wind
th
e film a few
turns
around
the core,
in
the
dire
c
tion
of
the
arrow,
to
take
up
th
e
slack
and
to
mak
e
certain
that
it
is
attached
securely.
The
film
mus
t
be
attached
so
that
the
square
hole
in
the
spool will fit over
th
e
square
base
on
the
spindle.

Press
th
e
ex
posure
release
for
a
moment
and
observe
th
e following
conditions
(if
the film
chamber
is
not
attached
to
the
camera
mechanism,
turn
the
sprocket
counterclockwise a few
turn
s) :
1.
Th
e spools
mnst
be seated all the way down on the
spindles.
2.
Th
e sprocket clamps
must
be closed.
3.
Th
e film
must
move evenly along
th
e path designated
by
tlJ,e
th
reading guide line.
4. The film loops
must
be maintained.
caution:
It
is possible to
run
film through
the
ca
mera
wit
hout
takin
g satisfactory pictures,
when
the pulldo
wn
does not e
n-
gage the film perforations. This is because
th
e main driving
force
co
mes from the sprocket.
Always
mak
e
ce
rtain that the
pulldown claw engages
the
film per/orations.
Replace
the
film
chamber
door;
turn
the
handle
clockwise to lock it.
