touch
the
points
indicated
in
the
illustration
so
that
a
drop
of oil
runs
down
the
sides
of
the
shafts.
After
oiling,
run
the
camera
at
normal
(16)
speed.
Start
and
stop
the
camera
several
times
to
allow
the
oil to
spread
over
the
bearing
surĀ·
faces.
Wipe
off
the
excess oil.
Oil
the
inside
of
the
film
chamber
at
the
points
il-
lustrated.
Remove
the
screws
from
the
supply
and
take-up spindles
and
place a
drop
of
oil
on
the
studs.
Do
not
lift
the
spindles off
the
studs.
Run
the
camera
intermittently
as
before.
Wipe
off
the
excess oil,
par-
ticularly
at
those
points
near
the
film
track,
as oil on
the
film will
cause
spots
in
the
developed image.
Follow
this
same
procedure
for
both
the
100-foot
and
200-foot film
chambers.
Remove
the
film
chamber
and
lay
the
mechanism
half
of
the
camera
face
up
on
a
support.
Oil
the
points
indicated
in
the
illustration.
Press
the
plunger,
and
operate
the
camera
intermittently.
Wipe
off
the
ex-
cess oil
and
replace
the
film
chamber.
