Engage
the
film
perforat
ions with
the
sprocket teeth,
and
place
the
film between
the
GUIDES;
then
push
the
clamp
until
it
snaps closed.

PRESSURE
PLATE.

Pull
back

Slide
the
film into the film c
hannel
and
between the
STUD

the
front

pulldown. Release the pres-

plate.

the
film in

e film channel
and
press
the exposure button for
an
instant;
th
en release it.
If
the film is
corr
ectly
thr
eaded, the pulldown will
draw
th
e film
through
the film channel.
If
it
is
incor
-
rectly
threaded
,
th
e film will be
driv
en by the sprocket
and
will pile up without going
through
the film chan-
nel.
When the film is
properl
y
threaded
, take hold of
the loose e
nd
of film
and
hold
in
the expos
ur
e
button
until an
additional
foot of film is
run
off the supply
spool.

Rotate the
SPROCKET
until the
pulldown
is clear

the sprocket clockwise a few turns

that the pulldown draws the film through the channel. It
may be necessary to move the film in the channel slightly
un-

e pulldown engages the per/orations.
