This chapter explains how to connect the camera to your Dell

computer and start the
Picture Easy software.

To connect the camera to your Dell computer with the serial cable provided with your cam-
era, perform the following steps:
1. Set the mode dial to Connect.
NOTE: While in Connect mode the camera is controlled by the computer. Except for
the mode dial and power button, all other camera buttons are ignored. The Ready light
indicates when the camera is on.
