Set Up ARM RETAINER CLIP 1. Press the ARM RETAINER CLIP to release the arm. 2. Rotate the FOCUS KNOB to move the head slightly away from the housing. 3. Lift the arm into the full, upright and locked position and open the PROJECTION LENS head.
ENGLISH Using the Projector 1. If using an LCD panel, install it and turn it on first. 2. Plug overhead projector in and turn the POWER SWITCH to the “ON” position. 3. Place a flat transparency on STAGE GLASS as shown and center it.
Using the Projector 4. Adjust the PROJECTION LENS head angle to center the image on the screen. 5. Turn the FOCUS KNOB until the projected image is sharp. Should an orange or blue fringe appear around the outer edge of the projected image, turn the COLOR FRINGE KNOB to clear it. 6. When the lamp is burned out, use the LAMP CHANGE HANDLE to switch to new lamp. The power is cutoff automatically during lamp change; switch power on again after using lamp switch.
Lamp Replacement Note: Use only the lamp type that is named on the label inside the projector. Lamp Replacement LAMP HOUSING COVER LAMP HOUSING CLIP 1. Turn POWER SWITCH “OFF.” 2. Unplug power cord. Wait for lamp to cool before removal. 3. Open and remove the TOP COVER. 4. Open the LAMP HOUSING COVER.
ENGLISH Lamp Replacement TOP COVER LATCH 5. Remove the used lamp from its socket. 6. Open the plastic sleeve. Keep the plastic sleeve on the lamp for hand holding, and expose the lamp wires for socket connection. IMPORTANT: Do not touch the new lamp directly. Finger oil and dirt can shorten lamp life and performance. 7. Then install the new lamp lead wires into the socket. Close the LAMP HOUSING COVER. 8. Replace the TOP COVER. Make sure it is locked in place.
Fuse Replacement 1. Move the POWER SWITCH to the “OFF” position. 2. Disconnect the power cord and wait until the unit is completely cool. 3. Locate the fuse (see diagram). Use a screwdriver to remove the fuse cover, then remove the used fuse. 4. Install a new fuse with the correct rating. Replace the fuse cover. Troubleshooting Use this chart to solve common problems. If you fail to find the solution, contact your local dealer for assistance and service. CAUSE CORRECTION • Is the power cord The power switch is disconnected? “ON” but the machine • Is the fuse blown? does not operate. • Is the TOP COVER completely closed? • Connect the power cord on power source. • Replace the blown fuse. • Close the TOP COVER completely. The power switch is “ON”, the fan is rotating, but the lamp does not come on.
Warranty Kodak warrants this KODAK EKTALITE Overhead Projector to function properly for one year from the date of purchase. If this KODAK EKTALITE Overhead Projector does not function properly within the warranty period, upon submission of dated proof of purchase, Kodak will repair it without charge, except for worn-out projector lamps. If the unit cannot be repaired, the option of replacement or refund of the purchase price will be available.

Aufbau 1. Drücken und befreien Sie die PROJEKTIONSARM-HALTERUNG, um den Arm zu entriegeln. Drehen Sie den FOKUSKNOPF bis sich der Projektionskopf in seiner vom Gehäuse entferntesten Stellung befindet. 2. Drehen Sie den FOKUSKNOPF, damit der Kopf leicht vom Gehäuse absteht. 3. Stellen Sie den Arm vollständig senkrecht und öffnen Sie den OBJEKTIVKOPF.
DEUTSCH Bedienung des Projektors 1. Wenn Sie ein LCD-Display benutzen, muß dieses zuerst installiert und einschaltet werden. 2. Stecken Sie den Netzstecker ein und drehen Sie den NETZSCHALTER auf “ON.” 3. Legen Sie, wie gezeigt, eine Folie auf die Glasplatte und richten Sie die Folie aus.
Bedienung des Projektors 4. Stellen Sie den PROJEKTIONSSPIEGEL so ein, daß das Bild in der Mitte der Leinwand ist. 5. Drehen Sie den FOKUSKNOPF bis das projizierte Bild scharf ist. Sollte am äußeren Rand des projizierten Bildes ein orangefarbener oder blauer Saum erscheinen, drehen Sie den FARBSAUM-KNOPF, um den Saum zu beseitigen. 6. Wenn die Lampe ausgebrannt ist, schieben Sie den LAMPENWECHSLER zur Seite, um auf eine neue Lampe umzustellen. Die Stromversorgung wird hierbei automatisch unterbrochen.

Fettige Haut und Schmutz können die Lebensdauer und die Leistung der Lampe verkürzen. Lassen Sie die neue Lampe in der Plastikhülle. Öffnen Sie diese, und legen Sie nur die Lampen-Kontaktstifte frei. 7. Führen Sie die Kontaktstifte der neuen Lampe in die Fassung ein. Schließen Sie den LAMPENGEHÄUSEDECKEL.
Austausch der Sicherung 1. Stellen Sie den NETZSCHALTER auf “OFF.” 2. Ziehen Sie den Netzstecker, und lassen Sie das Gerät völlig abkühlen. 3. Die Sicherung befindet sich wie auf dem Diagramm gezeigt rechts neben dem Netzkabel. Drehen Sie mit einem Schraubenzieher den Sicherungshalter heraus, und entnehmen Sie die durchgebrannte Sicherung. 4. Setzen Sie eine neue Sicherung mit gleichem Typ und Kennwert ein. Schrauben Sie den Sicherungshalter wieder ein.
Störungsbeseitigung An Hand der nachfolgenden Liste können allgemeine Probleme korrigiert werden. Wenn ein Problem hier nicht aufgeführt ist, wenden Sie sich an Ihren Fachhändler für Hilfeleistung und Service. Der Netzschalter ist auf “ON”, aber das Gerät funktioniert nicht. Preparativos 1. Presione el clip de retención del brazo para liberar el brazo. 2. Haga girar el botón de enfoque para separar ligeramente la cabeza del compartimiento. 3. Levante el brazo hasta que quede bloqueado en la posición vertical y abra la cabeza de la lente de proyección.
ESPAÑOL Uso del proyector 1. Si va a proyectar un panel LCD, instálelo y enciéndalo primero. 2. Enchufar el retroproyector y coloque el interruptor de encendido en la posición “ON.” 3. Coloque una transparencia en el centro de la bandeja de cristal, tal como se ilustra.
Uso del proyector 4. Ajuste el ángulo de la cabeza de la lente de proyección para centrar la imagen en la pantalla. 5. Gire el BOTÓN DE ENFOQUE hasta que la imagen proyectada sea nítida. Si observa una franja azul o anaranjada alrededor del borde exterior de la imagen proyectada, gire el BOTÓN DE SUPERPOSICIÓN DE COLOR para eliminarla. 6. Cuando se queme la lámpara, use la palanca de transferencia de lámpara para cambiar a la lámpara nueva.

Reemplazo de la lámpara CUBIERTA DEL COMPARTIMIENTO DE LA LÁMPARA CLIP DEL COMPARTIMIENTO DE LA LÁMPARA 1. Coloque el interruptor de encendido en la posición “OFF.” 2. Desenchufe el cable de alimentación. Espere a que la lámpara se enfríe antes de retirarla. 3. Abra y retire la cubierta superior. 4. Abra la cubierta del compartimiento de la lámpara.

Mantenga la manga de plástico sobre la lámpara mientras la manipula y expone los alambres de la lámpara para conectarla al portalámparas. IMPORTANTE: No toque directamente la lámpara nueva. La grasa de la piel y la suciedad de los dedos pueden acortar la vida de la lámpara y afectar su rendimiento. 7.
Reemplazo del fusible 1. Coloque el interruptor de encendido en la posición “OFF.” 2. Desconecte el cable de alimentación y espere hasta que la unidad se haya enfriado completamente. 3. Determine la ubicación del fusible (consulte el diagrama). Con un destornillador, retire la cubierta del fusible y saque el fusible usado. 4. Instale un fusible nuevo de la capacidad adecuada. Mise en Service 1. Appuyez sur l’ATTACHE DE FIXATION DU BRAS pour déverrouiller le bras. 2. Tournez le BOUTON DE MISE AU POINT pour déplacer légèrement la tête du carter. 3. Soulevez le bras dans sa position verticale et ouvrez la tête de la LENTILLE DE PROJECTION.
FRANÇAIS Utilisation du Rétroprojecteur 1. Si vous utilisez une tablette LCD, installez-la et connectez-la d’abord. 2. Branchez le rétroprojecteur et mettez le commutateur d’alimentation sur la position “ON.” 3. Placez un transparent à plat sur la platine et centrez-le.
Utilisation du Rétroprojecteur 4. Ajustez la tête de la lentille de projection pour centrer l’image sur l’écran. 5. Tournez le BOUTON DE LA MISE AU POINT jusqu’à ce que l’image soit au point. Si une frange orange ou bleue apparaît autour du bord extérieur de l’image projetée, tournez le bouton de REGLAGE DE LA FRANGE COLOREE pour l’éliminer. 6. Lorsque la lampe est grillée, utilisez la TIRETTE DE CHANGEMENT DE LAMPE pour commuter sur la nouvelle lampe.

Remplacement de la Lampe COUVERCLE DU LOGEMENT DE LA LAMPE AGRAFE DU BOITIER DE LA LAMPE 1. Mettez le commutateur d’alimentation sur la position “OFF.” 2. Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation. Attendez que la lampe refroidisse avant de l’enlever. 3. Ouvrez et enlevez le COUVERCLE SUPERIEUR. 4. Ouvrez le COUVERCLE DU LOGEMENT DE LA LAMPE.
FRANÇAIS Remplacement de la Lampe 5. Retirez la lampe grillée de sa douille. 6. Laissez l’enveloppe plastique sur la lampe pour la manipuler et installez la nouvelle lampe. IMPORTANT: Ne touchez pas directement la nouvelle lampe. Des traces de doigts ou de la saleté peuvent limiter la longévité de la lampe ou son fonctionnement. 7. Refermez le COUVERCLE DU LOGEMENT DE LA LAMPE. 8. Remettez le COUVERCLE SUPERIEUR. Assurez-vous qu’il soit enclenché.
Remplacement du Fusible 1. Mettez le commutateur d’alimentation sur la position “OFF.” 2. Débranchez le cordon d’alimentation et attendez que le matériel refroidisse complètement. 3. L’emplacement du fusible est montré dans le diagramme. A l’aide d’un tournevis retirez le couvercle du fusible, puis retirez le fusible grillé. 4. Installez un nouveau fusible de même ampérage. PROBLEME Le commutateur d’alimentation est sur “ON” mais l’appareil ne fonctionne pas. CAUSE REMEDE • Le cordon d’alimentation est-il débranché? • Le fusible a-t-il sauté? • Le COUVERCLE SUPERIEUR est-il complètement fermé? • Branchez le cordon d’alimentation dans la prise de courant. • Remplacez le fusible. • Fermez complètement le COUVERCLE SUPERIEUR.
Garantie Kodak garantit le bon fonctionnement de ce rétroprojecteur KODAK EKTALITE pendant un an à partir de la date de son acquisition. Si ce rétroprojecteur KODAK EKTALITE ne fonctionne pas correctement pendant la période de garantie, Kodak le réparera gratuitement, à l’exception des lampes de projection usagées.
