or m ore pairs of n ega tives fl ash up more quickly than the others
they should be cut out of the strip with a pair ()f shears and
tr ansfe rr ed back to th e tr ay of clear water, where th ey may
remain until the balance of strip has been devel oped and can
then
be deve lop ed one pair at a time. As the n ega tives have
been ex
po se d in pairs it will be r ea dily se en that th ey s hould also
be devel
ope d in th e same mann er . Be sure th at any n ega tives
put back in the tr ay of cl ear wat er a re k ep t fully immers ed .
Ke ep the strip which is being develo ped , constantly in
motion, allowing
the developer to ac t 5 to I O minutes. The
progress of deve lopment may be watched by holding the n eg a-
tives
up to th e lamp from time to time.
VI. After comp leting devel opm e nt c ut the n ega tives a part
with a pair of sh ea rs, transfer to the third tray and rinse two or
thr ee times with clear, cold water.
Always
cut the n ega tives apart in pairs, th at is, leave the
twin n ega tives attached to each other to avoid confusion in
printing.
If you find the tw elve (six St ere o) exposure strips too long to
ha nd le conveniently in th e abov e manner we advise t hat you
use the six exposure cartridges, as the grea t convenience of
strip developme
nt mor e than offse ts th e s hort time taken to
ins er t an extra spo o l.
