 Function check

This function is used to confirm the operation of Echo alarm, Manual acquisition TT (ARPA), Auto

acquisition, Past position and Guard zone.

 Preparation

1 Set up the range to 12 NM.

2 Turn GAIN, RAIN and SEA knobs and set these levels at a minimum.

3 Set up the echo alarm as follows:

Press MENU key to display “Menu”.

Select [ALARM] => [ECHO ALARM] => [IN], and press ENT key.

Set up the echo alarm range.

4 Set up the Guard zone.

Select [ALARM] => [GUARD ZONE] => [EDIT] => [ON], and press ENT key.

Set up the range of Guard zone.

5 Set up the Auto acquisition.

Select [TARGET] => [AUTO ACQ AREA] => [ON], and press ENT key.

Set up the range of Auto acquisition.
