TCDialer 1. Version 1.02.00 User Manual About TCDialer The possibility to make telephone calls directly from a corporate or private address book is an important feature of Kofax Communication Server. Overview 2.1 How it Works User Manual TCDialer uses the following procedure to make an outgoing telephone call on user‟s behalf: 1) At first it makes a first call to the user‟s own telephone. 2) As soon as user has answered the first call, the establishment of the second call to the desired telephone number starts. The user hears the ring back tone or the company‟s “hold the line” music (depends on the call transfer method used with particular PBX).

Note: To start TCDialer, click Start, point to Programs, point to Kofax Communication Server, and then click TCDialer. You start TCDialer by double-clicking the telephone symbol in the system tray or by right clicking the telephone symbol in the system tray and by selecting Open in the context menu.

Note: If the administrator have not configured the own extension number as read only, you can enter an extension number into the number field of the section Own Extension. 2) Enter the telephone number that you want to call in the number field of the section Call Destination 3) Click the Dial button.

TCDialer 7. Version 1.02.00 User Manual History TCDialer records the dialed telephone numbers in a history list. The length of the list is limited to 10 telephone numbers. The limit can be expanded with a configuration setting. Ask your administrator if you need more than 10 entries in the list. If the list limit is reached and you enter a new telephone number, the last telephone number in the list will be deleted. If you click the History button the History dialog opens where you can: 7.

Note: Maintaining the TCDialer configuration parameters can also be done by selecting Start, pointing to Programs, pointing to Kofax Communication Server, and then clicking TC Management Console. 8.1 Telephone Numbers In this section you can add, change and remove your telephone extension numbers. 8.
