Tools Menu
This menu will only be visible if the DOKuStar Validation station is started in Administration Mode.

The command Visual Basic Editor starts VBA development environment that allows to generate
project-specific scripts. For additional hints see the
Programming Manual.
The
Logging... command opens the Logging Settings dialog window:

The options of this menu control the amount of messages which will be written to a log file. The log file
resides in the directory
.\Local\DOKuStarValidation of your Ascent Capture installation, where the
name of the subdirectory corresponds to the installed DOKuStar Validation station.
If the option
Save intermediate XML work files is enabled, the input and the output that DOKuStar
Validation receives from and transmits to Ascent Capture will be stored as XML files. These files will be
stored in the
Image directory of your Ascent Capture installation. The files are named BatchIn_...,
BatchOut_..., and SetupIn_... followed by the corresponding DOKuStar Validation station. This option
is for debugging purposes only and should be switched off normally.
The option
Start Runtime Information System starts the trace program IdsInfo. The trace is also
intended for debugging purposes and should be started only in administration mode.
