You can select up to four DOKuStar Validation stations and the kind of the station, user controlled (default)
or automatic.
The dialog shows two check mark boxes for each validation station. If the first one is marked, the respective
station will be installed. If the second one is also marked the respective station will be configured as an
automatic station without user interface.
The selection in figure 1-2 will install two user controlled stations, Validation(2) and Validation(4) and
two automatic stations, Validation and Validation(3).
As next step you are asked to choose a program folder in the start menu. The default is the name of the
Ascent Capture program folder. If you used a different name for the Ascent Capture program folder you
should choose that folder now.
During installation, the files that comprise the Ascent Capture custom module are installed in the directories
bin and bin\DOKuStar of the Ascent Capture installation path.
Additional folders named
DOKuStarValidation will be created in the Local and the AdminDB
directory of Ascent Capture for each installed validation station. These additional stations will be named
DOKuStarValidation_2, DOKuStarValidation_3
and so on.
To remove DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture use
Add/Remove Programs in the Windows
Control Panel
.
DOKuStar Validation for Ascent Capture must be removed, if you want to install a newer version or if you
want to change the number or mode of installed validation stations.
