Data
While the Schema object describes the structure, the Data object holds all the documents and their fields which
shall be processed by the DOKuStar Validation operator.
Again, there are three ways how DOKuStar Validation can be supplied with data
- manually in the DOKuStar Validation itself
- by software
- by importing a DOKuStar Extraction result file.
Each of these methods is described in the following sections.
Entering Data Manually
This is a method that will hardly be used in real life; it is included here only for completeness.
After starting DOKuStar Validation, load a Validation project file (created as described above).
In the
TreeView window (left window), do a right click with the mouse. An Add submenu appears, where you
can add a new document; you can choose between the types allowed (in our case only
Letter):
A new
Letter document will be created. Expand it, and right-click on its Documents sub-node. You can now
add the subdocuments:
