6. Install the Control Amplifier

WARNING: Risk of electric shock. Connect the control amplier to a properly grounded, grounding-type
receptacle protected by a Ground-Fault Circuit-Interrupter (GFCI) or Residual Current Device (RCD). Do not
remov
e the grounding pin from the plug or use a grounding adapter.
IMPORTANT! Keep insulating materials away from the control amplier. Provide an unobstructed air space around the
control amplier to permit cooling.
NOTE: The control amplier can be positioned vertically or horizontally.
Install the mounting brackets to the control amplier
.
Position the control amplier ush or recessed from the front of the studs.
Using the wood screws provided, secure the control amplier to the framing. Use the anchors provided if securing to a
w
all material other than wood.
NOTE: The transducer terminals and wires are numbered to identify the correct connections. When required, the control
amplier can be removed to ease wire connection.
Securely aach the transducer wires to the transducer terminals on the control amplier
. The white with black wires
are the positive (+) leads, and the solid white wires are the negative (-) leads.
If equipped with chromatherapy, connect the chromatherapy connector to the chromatherapy terminal on the control
amplier
.
Connect the clear connector on the user interface cable to the control amplier user interface connection.
If used, connect the auxiliary-in connector to the auxiliary-in connection on the control amplier
.
Plug the power supply into the electrical outlet. Make sure that the other end of the power supply is connected to the
pow
er-in connection on the control amplier.
