Before You Begin
IMPORTANT! Due to BLUETOOTH® signal overlap, installations of multiple baths within 50 ft (15.2 m) of each other
will require special order product. Contact your dealer, showroom, or sales representative for ordering assistance.
NOTICE: Provide adequate oor support. Note the model number on the back of the bath, then visit the product page at
kohler.com for more information.
NOTICE: Do not support the load weight of the bath by the rim. Plan to shim under the bath as needed when leveling the
bath.
NOTICE: Verify adequate support if installing a rim- or deck-mount faucet. Large faucets that may be inadvertently used
as a means of support are not safe for this installation.
IMPORTANT! To ensure a successful installation, install the bath on a level oor.
Follow all state and local plumbing, building, and electrical codes.
Unpack and inspect the product for damage. Return the product to the carton until installation.
Read these instructions and determine the locations for all required components before beginning installation.
This bath is designed for drop-in, alcove, under-mount, or island installation.
Determine the location of the control amplier if it will be installed remotely. The control amplier includes a power
supply with a 36" (914 mm) cord and a 25' (7.6 m) cable.
A qualied electrician should install a 120 V, 15 A GFCI or RCD electrical outlet within the stud framing, and within 24"
(610 mm) of the control amplier. The user interface, transducers, and (if equipped) chromatherapy are powered through
connections with the control amplier.
Use conduit to route electrical power wires from the circuit breaker.
This bath will not easily t through doorways. Carefully plan how to move the bath into the installation area.
Install the bath to an adequately supported, level nished oor.
Provide properly dimensioned framing.
The bath basin requires no additional support when the suboor is level and square with the stud framing.
Plan for adequate mounting and connection space for the faucet.
This bath conforms to CSA B45.5/IAPMO Z124.
