2. Install the Bath
Mortar Cement Construction Adhesive
Apply construction
adhesive to the
support blocks.

IMPORTANT! Fit maximum 1/8" (3 mm) thick spacers under the bath rim to ensure that the rim does not contact the
deck.
Verify that the suboor is lev
el before proceeding. Use shims as needed.
Install the bath using one of the following two methods.

If desired, lay a plastic lm on wood suboors to prevent water absorption.
Spread a 1" (25 mm) to 2" (51 mm) layer of cement or mortar on the suboor.
With help, lift the bath into position. Use caution to avoid damaging components mounted to the bath.
Fit maximum 1/8" (3 mm) thick spacers under the bath rim.
Verify that the bath is level. Reposition or shim as needed.
Place a clean drop cloth in the bath basin to protect the surface.
Apply weight to the bath basin until the mortar sets.
Construction Adhesive Method
Apply a generous amount of construction adhesive to the boom of the support blocks or molded supports.
With help, lift the bath into position. Use caution to avoid damaging components mounted to the bath.
Fit maximum 1/8" (3 mm) thick spacers under the bath rim.
Verify that the bath is level and resting on all supports. Reposition or shim as needed.
Place a clean drop cloth in the bath basin to protect the surface.
Apply weight to the bath basin until the adhesive sets.
Cement or Mortar Bed Method
NOTICE: Do not use gypsum cement or drywall compound, as these materials will not provide a durable bond.
