Installation Notes
Install this product according to the installation guide.
Cast iron whirlpools are extremely heavy, making some
drop-in installations difficult. Splitting the deck/surround is
recommended if installing into a deck.
Floor support under whirlpool must provide for a minimum of
86 lbs/square foot (418 kg/square meter) loading.
A pump/control access panel is required.
For a drop-in installation, the cut-out dimension is 64-1/2″
(1638 mm) x 34-1/2″ (876 mm).
For an undermount installation, the K-587 template is
required.
The hot water supply should be 70% of capacity or greater.
Installations will vary.
The pump must be relocated to a custom position at the time
of installation. Provide adequate clearance.
Fixture conforms to ASME A112.19.1/CSA B45.2. All
dimensions are nominal.
No change in measurements if connected with
drain illustrated. (K-7147-AF or K-7147M-AF)
