4. Complete the Installation
Insert the plunger assembly into the overflow ell.
Properly secure the hold down plate to the overflow ell to
complete the hold down plate installation.
Attach the pin on the plunger assembly to the backside of the
hood.
Wrap thread sealant tape around the threads of the two Phillips
screws. This will prevent water seeping through the mounting
holes on the overflow ell.
Secure the hood to the overflow ell with the two Phillips screws.
Ensure the ″KOHLER″ logo is above the lever. Do not
overtighten the screws.
Make all final plumbing and drain connections.
Push the lever on the hood down to close the drain.
Fill the bath with water and check for leaks.
Check for proper operation of the lever. If necessary, refer to the
″Plunger Assembly Adjustment″ section.
