Installation Notes
Install this product according to the installation guide. Locate
a GFCI-protected 120 V, 15 A, grounded duplex electrical
outlet within 24″ (610 mm) of the blower motor.
NOTICE: Relocation of the blower motor and check valve is
optional. Relocate the blower motor and check valve together;
do not move one without the other. For drop-in models, two
access panels are required; one for blower motor and check
valve, and one for Bask heated surface. For apron models,
one additional access panel is required at the heated surface
location.
Floor support under the bath must provide for a minimum of
44 lbs/square foot (214.8 kg/square meter) loading.
If used, the bath with optional apron must be installed before
the finished floor and wall materials are installed.
If installing a rim-mount faucet, make sure there is no
interference with drain overflow and circulating system before
drilling any holes. Consult local and national codes for
minimum air gap requirements if installing a spout on the
faucet deck.
