Insert the bolts through the mounting bracket and the toilet seat mounting holes. Thread a nut onto each bolt.
Operating the Toilet Seat Your Kohler toilet seat is designed to close slowly when the seat is dropped. The toilet seat also has an easy-to-clean, quick-release hinge that allows the toilet seat to be quickly removed for complete cleaning. Using a fingertip, lift the hinge cover. Once the hinge cover is lifted, pull the toilet seat forward leaving the mounting hardware in place. After cleaning, simply push the toilet seat back into place on the mounting hardware and close the hinge cover.
