8. Install the Pin Block and Bushing
Secure the Pin Block
Insert the top drill template into the pin block.
Slide the template with the pin block flush against the side panel.
IMPORTANT! Use the side holes of the top drill template for this installation. Do not drill through the
bottom holes of the template.
From inside the shower, hold the top drill template and pin block in place. Using one of the side
hole guides, drill a 1/8″ hole into the header.
Remove the template and secure the pin block to the header with a #8 x 1/2″ pan head screw.
Reposition the top drill template into the pin block and drill the second 1/8″ hole into the side of
the header.
Remove the template and secure the pin block to the header with a #8 x 1/2″ pan head screw.
Install the Bushing
Place the bottom drill template over the threshold and flush against the side panel.
IMPORTANT! Drill only into the top surface of the threshold. Do not drill through the bottom of the
threshold.
Hold the template in place and drill a 3/8″ hole into the top of the threshold.
Use a rubber mallet to tap the metal bushing into the drilled hole.
