15. Install the Transom Fillers
Side Panel Side Transom Filler
Cut the bulb seal to 12″ (30.5 cm) in length.
Slide the bulb seal into the T-slot in the filler.
Place the filler into the wall jamb above the side panel with flat surface of the filler facing out and
the bulb seal toward the outside of the shower. Do not secure at this time.
Strike Side Transom Filler
Cut the transom seal to 12″ (30.5 cm) in length.
Slide the transom seal into the T-slot in the transom filler.
Install the filler into the wall jamb above the strike jamb with the transom seal toward the inside of
the shower.
Using the pre-drilled holes in the wall jamb as a guide, drill 1/8″ holes into the transom filler.
Secure the transom filler to the wall jamb with two #8 x 3/4″ flathead screws.
