Steam – Setup
Path: steam
Function: enables access to the steam feature options. Default steam settings are programmed from the
controller Web pages. Refer to the ″Web Settings – Steam″ section.
Factory default: 110°F (43°C) target temperature, ten-minute duration
NOTE: To see the [steam] icon on the interface home screen, a KOHLER steam generator must be
installed and connected to the system controller, and the feature must be enabled on the controller Web
pages. To enable the steam feature, refer to the ″Web Settings – System″ section.
From the home screen, touch the [steam] icon.
Current space = room/ambient temperature. If the temperature is lower then the detectable range,
double dashes (--) will be displayed in place of the temperature.
Target steam temperature can be adjusted using the up or down arrow icons to the left and right.
The temperature adjusts in 1° increments within a range of 90°F (32°C) and 125°F (52°C).
Steam duration can be adjusted using the minus or plus icons to the left and right. The duration
adjusts in 1-minute increments. The maximum set steam duration time is 20 minutes.
If water is not running: The temperature arrows below the screen will not be illuminated.
If water is running: The current water temperature is displayed at the top of the screen to the left
of the time display, and the temperature adjustment arrows below the screen are illuminated blue
and red. The water temperature can be adjusted using the blue and red arrows. Steam temperature
must be set using the arrows to the left and right of the target stem temperature.
