Music Line-In Input
Path: music > input > line-in 1 (or line-in 2)
Function: enables access to a signal from an audio device with a wired connection to one of the line-in ports
on the amplifier.
NOTE: To see the [music] icon on the interface home screen, the K-99696 amplifier must be installed and
connected to the system controller. To hear audio signals through the amplifier, speakers must be properly
connected to the amplifier. Refer to the amplifier Installation and Care Guide.
From the home screen, touch the [music] icon.
Touch the [input] tab.
Touch the [line-in 1] or [line-in 2] option.
Once a signal is detected from the connected device, the LED on the amplifier will turn green.
If the LED does not turn green when the device is turned on, increase the volume on the device.
NOTE: Audio input may be slightly delayed when a device is initially connected.
To hear the audio signal from the device, touch the [listen] tab, then touch the [play] icon. The
[play] icon changes to a [mute] icon.
To silence the audio sound, touch the [mute] icon. To regain the sound, touch the [un-mute] icon.
To adjust the volume, touch the circle to slide it along the bar. Slide up to increase volume; slide
down to decrease volume.
