• Do not expose the batte-
ries to excessive heat and
do not throw them in a
fire.
• Remove the batteries
if you do not intend to
use the appliance for an
extended period of time.
Leaking battery acids can
irreparably damage the
appliance .

• Do not place the device
in close proximity to in-
flammable material (e.g.
curtains, inflammable
liquids, etc.).
• Do not expose the appli-
ance to extremes of
temperature, as accumu-
lated heat in the interior
of the appliance could
cause defects or lead to
fire.
• Avoid direct solar radiation.
• Do not cover the ventila-
tion slots of the device.
• Do not place unprotec-
ted fire sources, such as
candles, on the device.
• Do not place containers
filled with fluids, such as
vases, on the device.
Operation
1. Insert two batteries (Typ
AA) into the battery com-
partment at the rear
of the appliance. Make
sure that the plus (+)
and minus (-) poles of
the batteries are correctly
placed in the indicated
positions.
