1 Mode or function

• Displays the currently selected mode or function setting.
• Displays the current menu, function or setting.
• Error messages are displayed when errors occur.
• The current date and remaining amount of memory is
displayed during standby.
2 Message area Displays messages such as operating instructions.
Symbol Description
Sending/receiving mail E-mail is being sent or received.
In standby for timer
transmission
An e-mail is queued for timer transmission.
