6. DEVELOPING UNIT
6.1 Screws That Must Not be
Removed
Note:
• The 4 screws [1] right must not be removed or
adjusted in the field. Please do not interfere with
these screws.
6.2 Removing and Reinstalling
the Developing Unit
A. Periodically replaced parts/cycle
• Developing unit: Every 720,000 copies (7145)
• Developing unit: Every 600,000 copies (7235/
7228/7222)
B. Procedure
1. Open the front door [1].
2. Loosen the screw [2].
3. Pull the developing unit [3] outward to remove.
4. To reinstall: fit the rails on the bottom of the
developing unit onto the grooves on the main
body, and slide the unit into place.
