Shortcuts using the SHIFT button
By holding down the SHIFT buon as you press other select buons, you can
access a number of convenient features quickly and easily.

When in Play mode:
PLAY buon
Loads the state of the front panel switches and
knobs into the selected Program.
Used to make the sound match the state of the
controls on the front panel.
Tuning
When in Play mode:
REC buon
When the monologue’s sound generator is not
making any sound, auto-tuning occurs auto
-
matically; but you can use this function to re-
tune the monologue manually in Play mode if
the tuning seems to be drifting.
The internal temperature tends to changes
more right after the power is turned on, which
may cause the instrument to go out of tune.
Press the REC buon while holding down the
SHIFT buon again to cancel manual tuning, if
you accidentally started it by mistake.
Delete sequence
data
When in Play mode:
REST buon
Deletes all sequence data for the selected Pro
-
gram (including notes and Motion Sequence
seings).
Press the REC buon while holding down the
SHIFT buon again before doing anything else
to cancel deleting the sequence data, if you ac
-
cidentally started this operation by mistake.
Select a Program
When in Play mode:
PROGRAM/VALUE

Skips the selected Program forward or back

wards, in increments of 10.
INT seings for
the EG and LFO
When in Play mode:

LFO INT knob
The value can be changed in the negative
range.
Editing the Micro

tuning
When editing the USER
SCALE or USER OCTAVE
in GLOBAL EDIT mode:
PROGRAM/VALUE knob
The pitch can be changed in 100 cent (semitone)
intervals.
