Recording folder
WhenyouusetheMR‐2forrecording,adatedfolderwillbecreated
insidethisfolder,andaprojectfolderwillbecreatedinsidethedated
folder.
Upto400projectfilescanberecognizedwithinafolder.Ifthere
aremorethan400projectfolders,theycanberecognizedbyco
n‐
nect
ingacomputerinUSBmode.
Themaximumnumberofprojectfoldersthatcanbecreatedwill
belimitedbythespaceremainingonthememorycard.
Donotuseyourcomputertodeleteorrenamethefolders.Other‐
wise,theMR‐2willnolongerrecognizethefilesyoucre
ated.
Date fold
ers (year_month-date: e.g., 2010-03-05, etc.)
Projectfolderscanbecreatedhere,organizedbydate.
Project foldes(DFF_0001, WAV_0001, etc)
AprojectfolderiscreatedforeachprojectrecordedontheMR‐2.It
containsaudiodatafilesandaprojectsettingsfilethatmanagesthe
audiodatafiles.
Thenumericalportionofthe
foldernamewillbeincre‐
mented,startingwith0001
.
The
firstthreealphabeticalcharac‐
terswilldependontherecord‐
ingformat.
OperationsontheMR‐2applyto
theprojectrecordedinthisproj‐
ectfolder.Renamingtheproject
willrenametheprojectfolder,
andthenameoftheprojectset‐
tingfilewithinthefolderwill
alsoerenamedautomatically
.
Ifyo
urenameaprojectfolderfromyourcomputer,youdonot
needtochangethenameoftheprojectsettingfile(***.prj)inside
thatfoldertomatchthenewname.
