Overview: Thick cloudy liquid, strong THF odour, flammable liquid. Toxic if absorbed through the skin. Irritating to the
eyes, skin and respiratory system.
Routes of Exposure: Inhalation, eye and skin contact.
Inhalation: Will cause irritation to the respiratory tract. Overexposure to vapors may cause CNS effect:
nausea, vomiting, headache and dizziness.
Eyes: Risk of serious eye damage.
Skin: Irritating to skin.
Ingestion: May cause severe irritation of the gastrointestinal tract and CNS effects.

Inhalation: Move to fresh air. Assist in breathing if necessary. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs.
Eye Contact: Flush open eyes with water for 15 minutes. Seek immediate medical attention.
Skin Contact: Remove affected clothing. Wash skin with soap and water immediately. Wash contaminated
clothing before re-use. Seek medical attention if irritation occurs.
Ingestion: Seek Medical attention immediately. Do not induce vomiting. Rinse mouth with water. Never give
anything by mouth to an unconscious person.
Extinguishing Media: CO
2, chemical foam, dry chemical, water spray.
Equipment/Instructions: Self-contained breathing apparatus and full protective clothing should be worn by fire fighters.
Flammable Properties: Isolate from heat, sparks and open flame.
Containment Procedure: Cover spill with absorbent material. Do not use a combustible material such as sawdust.
Transfer to a container for disposal. Keep container tightly closed.
Clean-up Procedure: Decontaminate area with detergent and water.
