The Wi-Fi BacPac attaches to your HD HERO2 camera to enable long range video remote control via
the Wi-Fi Remote or a smartphone / tablet / computer running a free GoPro App. Waterproof and
durable, the Wi-Fi Remote enables complete control of up to 50 HD HERO2 cameras at a time.
When paired with the Wi-Fi BacPac, the HD HERO2 also supports live video streaming and remote
control via smart-devices, computers and the Web wherever Wi-Fi or a mobile hotspot is present.
Record one video stream to your HD HERO2’s SD card while sending a second video stream via Wi-Fi
to your smart-device, computer or the Web.
The original HD HERO is also compatible with the Wi-Fi BacPac and Wi-Fi Remote with support for
remote control functions only. Video streaming is not available on the original HD HERO camera.
The Flat Lens Housing provides maximum photo and video sharpness underwater in all resolutions.
The HD HERO’s standard housing features a curved lens to maximize a wider field of view above water
while keeping the lens as small as possible. While brilliant for above water use, the curved lens reduces
the sharpness of photos and videos when used underwater. The Flat Lens Housing features a large, flat
lens that captures sharp photos and video above and underwater in any resolution setting. Waterproof to
197/60m, the Flat Lens Housing is ideal for diving, snorkeling, and any underwater filming scenario.
The Flat Lens Housing is compatible with the HD HERO, HD HERO2, and all GoPro mounts and accessories.

The 3D HERO System allows you to combine two HD HERO or HD HERO2* cameras to record 3D video and
photos while simultaneously recording in 2D. Included 3D editing soware — CineForm Studio — allows
you to easily convert the 2D video or photo files into usable 3D content to watch on your computer, online
at video sharing sites like YouTube that support 3D videos or on your 3D television using active or passive
shutter glasses depending on your 3D TV.
* Cameras are not included. The 3D HERO System is NOT compatible with the HD HERO 960 or standard definition GoPro cameras.
The HD HERO2 will be compatible with the 3D HERO System via firmware update December 2011.
