3 Overview The 611T and 611R are a high-performance fiber optic transmitter and receiver for composite video signals. The 611T transmitter converts a composite video signal into a fiber optic signal and the 611R receiver converts the fiber optic signal back into a composite video signal. More specifically, the 611T, 611R feature: 3.1 • 55MHz (-3dB) bandwidth • Level (gain) and EQ (peaking) controls • A range of 5km (3.

4 Connecting the 611T, 611R i Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your 611T, 611R. After connecting your 611T, 611R, connect its power and then switch on the power to each device. To connect the 611T, 611R as illustrated in the example in Figure 3: 1. On the 611T, connect a composite video source (for example, a video player) to the INPUT BNC connector. 2. On the 611R, connect the OUTPUT BNC connector to a composite video acceptor (for example, a video recorder). 3.
