2.3 Recycling Kramer Products The Waste Electrical and Electronic Equipment (WEEE) Directive 2002/96/EC aims to reduce the amount of WEEE sent for disposal to landfill or incineration by requiring it to be collected and recycled. To comply with the WEEE Directive, Kramer Electronics has made arrangements with the European Advanced Recycling Network (EARN) and will cover any costs of treatment, recycling and recovery of waste Kramer Electronics branded equipment on arrival at the EARN facility.
3 Overview The FC-321 SD/HD-SDI to HDMI Converter/Switcher is a high performance format converter for SDI (SMPTE 259M), HD-SDI (SMPTE 292M), and 3G HD SDI (SMPTE 424M) signals. It converts one of two SDI video and audio signals to an HDMI output signal with the same resolution and frame rate (no scaling is performed).

5 Connecting the FC-321 This section explains how to connect the FC-321. ! Always switch off the power to each device before connecting it to your FC-321. After connecting your FC-321, connect its power and then switch on the power to each device. To connect the FC-321, as illustrated in the example in Figure 2, do the following: 1. Connect a digital video source (for example, a digital video player 1) to the SD/HD-SDI IN 1 connector. 2.
