8. Close the “ Atmel – Flip” window.
9. Turn the POWER switch on the VP-81xl/VP-161xl/VP-321xl OFF.
10. Disconnect the RS-232 DB9 rear panel port on the
VP-81xl/VP-161xl/VP-321xl unit from the Null-modem adapter.
11. Set DIP 9 OFF.
12. Set DIP 10 OFF.
Set DIP 12 OFF.
13. Turn the POWER switch on the VP-81xl/VP-161xl/VP-321xl ON.
Upon initialization, the VP-81xl/VP-161xl/VP-321xl will work with the new
firmware version.
