7.1 The Controller Software Menu Bar
The following table describes the Controller Software menu bar options.

Sub Menu Description
File Open Open an existing project
Save Save the current project
Exit Exit the Controller software
Device Connect/Disconnect Connect or disconnect to the device
Firmware Upgrade Upgrade the device firmware using a new firmware
file
Device Details Display the device details, such as, model, unit name,
IP settings, and so on
ABOUT NA Displays the Controller Software and Kramer
company details
7.2 Connecting to the Device
To connect to the device:
1. Click the Connect button.
The Connection Method window is displayed as shown in
Figure 10.

2. Select the connection method (via Ethernet over a LAN or serial connection)
selecting the relevant option button.
