7.8 Sensor response times
Thermometer response times are generally indicated as "50% time" (t

) and "90% time" (t

).
"50% time" refers to the time needed for a thermometer signal to achieve 50% of its end value in
the face of erratic temperature changes (this applies analogously to "90% time")

Thermocouple, water with 0.4 m/s (1.31 ft/s)
The following table contains information regarding the response times of the thermometer
without thermowell (TRA/TCA-P14):
